TOWER OIL & TECHNOLOGY Co.has long used a combination of chlorinated compounds in addition to sulfurized additives to reduce friction in metalforming operation. Our SULFUR-CHLORINATED COMPOUNDED OILS are being used in a wide variety of manufacturing operations. They range from light duty stamped and formed parts to heavy-duty operations such as deep drawing, heavy forming and fine blanking operations. These products are especially effective in forming cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel, high strength alloys and stainless steel. They should not be used on yellow metals without testing prior to use. Ease of use and control make these lubricants attractive to a wide variety of metal forming operations. The use of SULFUR-CHLORINATED COMPOUNDED OILS benefits many plant operations. Operators benefit from products that contain no hazardous ingredients as defined by OSHA and that are also EPA SARA-FREE. These compounds are used as supplied and require little or no ongoing maintenance. Tooling benefits from the broad range of friction-reducing capabilities inherent in these products. These products will produce the best tool life possible. Plant costs are often lowered through reduction of rust inhibitor use. Contact us for product selection consultation. The list below shows three groups of SULFUR-CHLORINATED COMPOUNDED OILS. The lubricity, wetting and extreme pressure properties of each product increases from top to bottom in each column. The three columns represent, from left to right, light, medium and heavy viscosity grades.
