SYNTHETIC OILS FROM RENEWABLE RESOURCES

Tower Oil & Technology Co. has developed a series of lubricants using synthetic base stocks coming from renewable resources. These high performance lubricants do not contain petroleum oil. This series of synthetic lubricants is economical to use in a variety of manufacturing processes, when applied with micro-metering pump applicators.

TOWER X-65 is a medium viscosity blend of high lubricity and extreme pressure additives. It is used as a lubricant for a variety of metal forming and metal removal operations on all types of metals.

TOWER X-69 is a heavy medium viscosity blend of sulfurized extreme pressure and boundary film additives in synthetic base stocks. Typically used on tough materials such as stainless steel, HSLA steel, inconel, and titanium, it is used to lubricate metal forming and metal removal operations operating at very high temperatures. Not recommended for yellow metals.
